Personalizing your Send profile helps others recognize you and makes it easier to receive payments. This guide covers everything from adding a profile picture to linking your social media accounts.
Accessing Your Profile Settings
From the Dashboard
Look at the left sidebar navigation
Click on the Account button at the bottom (with the person icon)
You'll be taken to your Account overview page
The Account button will be highlighted when you're in the account section.
Account Overview
Your Account page shows your basic information at the top:
Profile avatar (green circle with person icon if not set)
Name display (shows "---" if not yet added)
Referral Code - Your unique code for inviting friends is your sendtag
Profile Settings Section
The Profile section contains four customization options:
1. Profile
Click on Profile to customize your public-facing information.
What You Can Edit:
Profile Picture
Click the camera icon to upload a photo
Accepted formats: JPG, PNG
Appears next to your Sendtag when others send you money
Name
Your display name (can be your real name or business name)
Shows as "---" until you add it
Visible to others when they search for you
About
A brief bio or description
Shows as "---" until you add it
Tell others what you do or why you're on Send
Public Profile Toggle
Green checkmark = Public (anyone can find you)
2. Personal Information
Date of Birth
Birthday Feature: Your date of birth allows Send to display your profile on the sending page during your birthday, making it easy for other Sendoors (Send users) to celebrate and send you birthday tips
Format: MM/DD
Important: Non-editable once set - double-check before saving
non-editable after you've entered it
3. Language
Click on Language to change your interface language.
Available Options:
English
Espanol
Deutsch
All menus, buttons, and text will appear in your chosen language
4. Link In Bio
Connect your social media accounts to your Send profile, making it a central hub for all your online presence.

Messaging & Community:

How to Add Links:
Click on Link In Bio in your profile menu
You'll see all available platforms with their icons
Click on any platform icon you want to connect
Enter your username, handle, or profile URL
Repeat for as many platforms as you want
Click the green SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom

Below your Profile settings, you'll find the Features section with additional options:
- Sendtags
View and manage your unique Sendtags:
Add a new Sendtag (5 max)
Change your main Sendtag
Delete any tags you don't want anymore
Referrals
Access your referral program:
View how many people you've referred
Track referral status
Profile Completion Checklist
To have a complete profile:
Profile picture uploaded
Display name added
About section filled out
Date of birth entered
Public profile toggle set to your preference
At least one social media account linked (optional)
X handle added (optional)
A complete profile makes it easier for others to trust and send you money.
Troubleshooting
Can't Save Profile Changes?
Ensure all required fields are filled
Check your internet connection
Try refreshing the page
Clear your browser cache
Profile Picture Not Uploading?
File size should be under 5MB
Use JPG or PNG format
Ensure the image is square (recommended)
Try a different browser
Social Links Not Saving?
Click SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom
Verify you've entered correct usernames
Check for any error messages
Ensure format matches platform requirements
