Send to Savings

How to move funds from your Send cash balance into Savings, what you'll earn, and how withdrawals work.

Move money from your cash balance into Send Savings, where it earns yield while staying available to withdraw at any time.

This moves funds into your general savings balance. It does not contribute to a savings goal, those are set up separately.

Before You Start

What You Need

  • Funds available in your Send cash balance

  • Your Send account logged in

There's no setup and no verification step. Unlike bank withdrawals, Savings is available wherever Send operates.

How to Deposit into Savings

Step 1: Start Your Withdrawal

  • Go to your dashboard (Home)

  • Find the Cash Balance section

  • Click Withdraw

Step 2: Choose Send to Savings

You'll see four ways to move money out:

  • Send via Link – "Like a cheque, cancel if unclaimed"

  • Send to Bank Account – "Requires a US bank account"

  • Send to Savings – "Move funds to savings and keep earning"

  • Send to External Wallet – "Send to any wallet address"

Click Send to Savings.

Step 3: Enter Your Amount

On the Savings screen:

  • Enter the amount you want to deposit — minimum $5

  • Your available balance is shown below the amount — click MAX to deposit everything

  • Estimated monthly earnings updates as you type, with a projection over the next 30 days and a yearly figure

The screen also shows what you're getting:

  • APY — your current annual rate

  • Withdraw anytime — no lock-up period

  • SEND rewards — bonus tokens on your savings balance

Step 4: Confirm

Click Confirm deposit and authorize the transaction with your passkey.

You'll see "Deposit submitted" confirming it's gone through. Your funds move into Savings straight away and start earning from that point.

Checking Your Savings

Your savings balance appears on your dashboard under Save, showing the current amount and the rate you're earning.

What You're Earning

Your deposited USDC is lent out through established DeFi lending protocols. Borrowers pay interest, and that interest is what you earn.

Interest accrues while your money is deposited and stops when you withdraw. The rate is variable and moves with borrowing demand, so the figure on your dashboard changes over time — the estimated earnings shown at deposit are a projection at the current rate, not a guarantee.

Withdrawing from Savings

There's no notice period, no minimum term, and no early-withdrawal penalty. Withdraw from Savings back into your cash balance at any time.

Good to Know

  • Minimum deposit is $5.

  • This goes to general savings, not a savings goal. Savings goals are managed separately.

  • No lock-up. Withdraw whenever you want.

  • You stay in control. Your funds remain yours throughout — Send never takes custody.

Troubleshooting

  • Confirm deposit button greyed out? You haven't entered an amount, the amount is below the $5 minimum, or it exceeds your available balance. Use MAX to fill in everything available.

  • Balance not updating? Refresh the dashboard. If it still looks wrong after a few minutes, contact support.

  • Earnings showing $0.00? The estimate only appears once you've entered a deposit amount.

  • Want to set a savings goal instead? That's a separate flow — this option deposits into general savings.
