Funding and Managing Your Card

How to load funds onto your Send Card, lock it, and reissue it if it's lost.

Loading your card

Your Send Card is prefunded: you move money onto it from your Send balance before spending.

  1. Go to the Card tab

  2. Choose to add funds

  3. Enter the amount

  4. Confirm with your passkey

Your card balance updates once the deposit completes. If it doesn't appear right away, restart the app.

Checking your balance

Your card balance is shown in the Card tab, separate from your main Send balance. Card spending only draws from the loaded amount.

Locking your card

If you think your details have been exposed, or you just want to stop spending, lock the card. Locking blocks transactions immediately and is reversible — unlock it whenever you're ready.

Lock first, then contact support. It's the fastest way to stop anything further.

Reissuing your card

If your card is lost, compromised, or you want a fresh number, you can reissue it.

What happens when you reissue:

  • You get a new card number

  • Your loaded balance carries over to the new card

  • The old card stops working immediately: all payments on it stop

  • Any wallet you'd added the old card to (Apple Pay, Google Wallet) needs the new card added again

There's a limit of 3 reissues per account. Each reissue has a cost to us, so the cap keeps things sustainable. If you need another beyond that, contact support.

Closing a card

You can't fully close a card at the moment, locking it is the way to stop it being used. Full card closure is something we'll add later.

Good to know

  • One active card at a time

  • Reissuing is the fix for a lost or compromised card, not closing

  • Locking is instant and reversible

  • Restart the app if a balance looks out of date
