Depositing with Apple Pay

Add money to your Send account quickly and securely using Apple Pay. This method is perfect for Apple device users who want fast, convenient deposits using their debit card.

What You Need

Before depositing with Apple Pay:

  • An Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac with Apple Pay)

  • A debit card added to Apple Wallet

  • Your debit card must support online transactions

  • Your Send account logged in

  • Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode enabled

Important: Apple Pay on Send only supports debit cards. Credit cards cannot be used for deposits.

Step-by-Step Deposit Process

Step 1: Access the Deposit Page

  1. Sign in to your Send account

  2. Go to your dashboard (Home)

  3. Find the Cash Balance section

  4. Click the green "+ Add Money" button

  5. The Deposit page will open


Step 2: Select Apple Pay

You'll see three deposit options:

  • Crypto Wallet - "Deposit from an external wallet"

  • Apple Pay - "Debit card only"

  • Debit Card - "Quick deposits up to $500/week"

Click on "Apple Pay" to proceed.

Step 3: Enter Deposit Amount

On the Apple Pay deposit page:

  1. You'll see "Enter Deposit Amount"

  2. Enter your desired amount:

  • Must be between $10 and $500

  • Cannot exceed $500 per week total

Step 4: Review and Confirm

Step 5: Complete Apple Pay Authentication

After clicking "CONFIRM DEPOSIT," the screen displays:

  • "Complete the transaction in your Coinbase window."

  • A "CANCEL" button if you need to stop

What happens next:

  1. Apple Pay Sheet Appears - Your device prompts you to authenticate

  2. Verify Payment Details - Review the amount and merchant (Coinbase Commerce)

  3. Authenticate - Use Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode

  4. Processing - Transaction processes through Coinbase Commerce

  5. Confirmation - Deposit completes and you return to Send

Tips for Smooth Deposits

  1. Add Card First - Make sure your debit card is in Apple Wallet before starting

  2. Test with Minimum - Try a $10 deposit first to test the process

  3. Stay on Screen - Don't switch apps during authentication

  4. Check Confirmation - Wait for success message before leaving

  5. Verify Balance - Check your Send dashboard after completing

Important Notes:

  • Send uses Coinbase Commerce for payment processing

  • Apple Pay will only work in countries/regions supported by Coinbase Commerce
